Our Artist Statement
Northeast Noir is a solo-operated cinematic production studio specializing in high-end virtual content, color, and visual architecture. Operating globally and built on decades of experience across commercial photography, physical film production, and real-time rendering, the studio delivers premium visuals for clients across music, film, and branded content.
The studio is led by a multidisciplinary creative with formal training in photography (BFA, MassArt), a background in gallery-exhibited and internationally published work, and field experience spanning commercial fashion, fine art, and film. Prior roles include union-set dresser, propmaster, and production designer on film and television productions, culminating in membership with the Art Directors Guild (ADG800).
With advanced proficiency in 3D modeling, set visualization, and rendering for architecture and digital environments, the studio also provides accurate, Unreal Engine–ready virtual sets and flythroughs. All finishing is completed in DaVinci Resolve Studio, with full support for ProRes, HDR, DCP, and web formats.
Northeast Noir combines the discipline of traditional film craft with modern production technology — delivering cinematic results through a lean, director-level workflow optimized for creative professionals, agencies, and brands.
